Job Role: Senior Field Officer (Aggregation, Quality Assurance & Community Support)

Location: We are looking for people who live in or have strong ties to Langtang South (Plateau), Riyom (Plateau), Mangu (Plateau), Doma (Nassawara) Takum (Taraba), Bali (Taraba), Donga (Taraba), Edati (Niger), Agaie (Niger), Katsina-Ala (Benue).

Languages: You must speak Hausa very well. If you also speak Fula / Fulfulde, Junkun, Tiv, Nupe, or Tarok that is a big plus.

About the Job

We are Aké Collective. We are working with women in villages to collect and dry grain / nuts in a clean and fair way. We want to help more women earn money from local products and take care of their land.

We are looking for a Senior Field Officer who can work with women in local communities. You will help plan workdays, check the grain / nut quality, and make sure everyone is treated fairly.

Your Main Work

1. Support Collection Work

• Help women plan group workdays (called Gayya Days)
• Keep records of who worked, when, and how much they brought
• Make sure the grain / nuts are brought to the correct place
• Help solve small problems or fights between people

2. Check Grain / Nut Quality

• Teach women how to clean, dry, and sort grain / nuts
• Use simple tools to check if the nuts are dry enough
• Say “yes” or “no” to batches depending on quality
• Find 1 or 2 women in each area who can keep quality high when you’re not there
